Privacy notice for contributions

Payments are taken on PayPal's and Stripe's own pages. Your card or bank details go to them and never touch this website.

What I keep

After a payment is confirmed I record the date, amount, payment method, whether it was one time or monthly, the processing fee, and the name or email the provider shows on the receipt. I use that for bookkeeping, tax records, and a monthly check that the totals match the provider.

What I show

Only totals, if a progress bar is shown at all. I do not publish donor names, and I do not sell, rent, or share the list.

What a gift gives you

Nothing that changes the work. No special access, no editorial influence, no promise of coverage.

Your options

To ask what I have on file, correct it, or have a record removed where the law allows, contact me. Payment providers keep their own records under their own policies.
