Despite care in preparing this material, some of it will contain errors, omissions or statements that were true when written and are no longer true. Each module shows an "Updated" date. That date is when the page was last changed. It does not mean everything on the page was re-checked on that day.

Verifying is your responsibility

Before you rely on anything here, act on it, file something, cite it, publish it or repeat it, check it yourself against the primary source: the current text of the statute or rule, the court's own opinion, the official agency or public body, or the original document. If the stakes are real, confirm the point with the official agency or public body that administers the rule. If you find a mistake, please report it so it can be fixed (see Corrections below).

Automated and AI-assisted tools

Some tools pull headlines, records and data from outside feeds, and some use artificial intelligence to rank, summarize or draft. Those results can be wrong, incomplete, outdated or misread. Treat them as a starting point for your own checking, never as a finished answer. Lists of items, scores and rankings are not verdicts about any person or organization.

Opinion and analysis

Articles, commentary and some lessons contain the author's opinions and analysis. They are labeled or evident from context, and they are not statements of fact about any individual. Training exercises that use sample names, fictional scenarios or real public records are for teaching.
